Did you know we are open to all ?
We look forward to welcoming you.

Ciúnas therapists are fully qualified, vetted and insured and whilst they have particular expertise in dealing with fragile, vulnerable and special needs clients, our centre is open to all who are in need of some self care, wellness or simply some moments of stillness in their lives

In addition to providing therapies and counselling to carers (and those in their care), the elderly, those with disabilities, special needs or long-term illness, our service has evolved and we now also offer our reduced rates to healthcare/medical/emergency workers, other professionals such as SEN’s, SNA’s or anyone working in emotionally demanding or high stress roles.

Our aims are:
  • To provide easy and affordable access to beneficial wellness therapies to help alleviate stress and build resilience in order to better cope with day to day stresses.
  • To offer a lower cost service so that ability to pay is not a barrier to accessing support
  • To care for the carers - to help those associated with caring (paid or unpaid) and special needs, long term illness and the elderly in our community.
  • To offer sustained support to clients, including outreach, to help families avoid crises.
  • to be an integrated part of primary health care in the region.
  • to provide links to local, regional and national information services to facilitate clients’ access to accurate, up to date information and advice on issues that may affect them.
  • to provide an excellent environment for therapeutic work and provide support to therapists, including opportunities for ongoing employment and continuous professional development.
  • to provide a community space for therapeutic activities out of hours such as art and music therapy, meditation, curative movement therapies and social networking, stress reduction and creative writing.
